Friday, November 20 - Sunday, November 22 Navajo Style Weaving

We are not offering workshops this winter; however private lessons are still a possibility. Stay tuned for a summer schedule!!!!

COST:

Cost for private lessons is $25/hour plus materials. Possible topics include: tapestry weaving, Navajo style weaving, backstrap style weaving, and many more. Contact Kim (contact info at the top of the page) to discuss what interests you!

Cost for all of the three day weaving classes is $350, plus a $20 yarn fee. Paying the yarn fee allows students to use as many colors of yarn from the Manos Weaving School yarn basket as they want. Our yarn is Weaving Southwest's hand dyed rug yarn. Students are welcome to bring their own yarn and not pay the yarn fee; it should be a heavy weight wool. The weaving class fee includes use of all equipment that you will need as well as warp yarn.

Cost for the Warping Workshop following the Beginning Weaving on Treadle Looms class is $125. This includes use of equipment and all materials. (This class can also be taught by the hour- $25/ hour).

BEYOND THE FRINGE

TIMES: Three day intensive courses go from Friday to Sunday: 9 am to 4:30 pm. Optional Warping Workshop takes place on Mondays following Beginning and Advanced Weaving classes: 9am - 3pm.

These courses are intensive! A lot of learning happens in three days so come well rested!
