Manos Weaving School offers weaving classes in beautiful downtown Taos, New Mexico. We work in close connection with Weaving Southwest. We focus on Southwestern style tapestry weaving using Walking Looms, Navajo looms and conventional sit down treadle looms. We also go far beyond this into many other kinds of weaving, such as back strap weaving, card weaving, pattern weaving and others. We offer individual instruction as well for those who have specific weaving interests outside of our regular class offerings. Our weaving classes are taught by Kimberly Hamill. She is a passionate weaver with eight years of production and exploratory weaving experience. We emphasize creativity in weaving alongside technical excellence. We offer weaving classes for beginners and advanced weavers, simple and technical weavers alike. The Manos Weaving School classroom is located at Yucca Plaza, 216 Paseo del Pueblo Norte in downtown Taos.
